Citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran holders of ordinary passport traveling to the Republic of Serbia need visas.

All holders of Iranian travel documents for aliens or refugees require an entry visa for the Republic of Serbia.

If you do not possess an Iranian passport, please check here whether you need a visa.

For a stay exceeding 180 days, a request for temporary stay must be submitted in the Republic of Serbia. More information here.

TYPES OF VISAS

1) Short Stay Visa (Visa C)
2) Long Stay Visa (Visa D)


VISA C (Short-stay in Serbia up to 90 days):
Short-stay visas are mainly issued for tourism, transit, business as well as other travelling needs including a single, double or multiple entries into the Republic of Serbia.
The duration of an uninterrupted stay, and/or the total duration of successive visits of a alien with a short-stay visa shall not exceed 90 days within a period of six months which began on the day of the first entry.
A short-stay visa with the multiple entry option is issued with the validity of up to one year; however, it may also be issued for a longer term if it is related to the staff of a foreign diplomatic mission or a consular office as is stated by applied principle of reciprocity.

VISA C REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days from the last valid date of visa)
  • Photo (Size 3,5 x 4,5 cm)
  • Completed visa application form
  • Invitation letter
    • for a private visit - invitation letter certified by the relevant authority of the Republic of Serbia
    • for a business visit - invitation letter  by a company in Serbia stating nature of the business and expected duration of the visit, as well as a letter from an Iranian company which you are representing
  • for a tourist visit - a proof of payment for the trip issued by a travel agency (voucher or other type of payment receipt)
  • Proof of stay in the Islamic Republic of Iran - stay permit (if you are not a citizen of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan)
  • Return ticket or Itinerary (copy of International Driving License, Title and  Insurance if you travel by car)
  • Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia (50 EUR for each day of stay)
  • Health insurance
  • For all minors (under 18 years of age) which are not accompanied by both parents, PARENTAL CONSENT in Serbian or English language and verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran MUST BE PRESENTED.
  • Visa fee (please check here)
  • VISA APPLICATIONS MUST BE LODGED WITH THE EMBASSY PERSONALLY, AT LEAST THREE VEEKS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF ENTRY INTO SERBIA.
  • APPOINTMENT for lodging applications for visas and all other consular services are made by the Embassy's e-mail.
  • PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME for your appointment at the Embassy, otherwise you will be denied access to the Embassy and you will have to make a new appointment.
  • PLEASE DON’T STAPLE THE DOCUMENTS WHEN APLLYING FOR VISA – STAPLED DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

VISA D (Long-stay in Serbia: from 91 to 180 days):
Long-stay visa are mainly issued for employment, schooling, study, international exchange of students, professional practice, scientific research, religions service, medical treatment, ownership of immovable property, family reunification (when a spouse is a citizen of Serbia), including a single, double or multiple entries into the Republice of Serbia.

The duration of an uninterrupted stay, and/or the total duration of successive visits of a alien with a long-stay visa shall not exceed 180 days within a period of one year.

VISA D REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days from the last valid date of visa)
  • Photo (Size 3,5 x 4,5 cm)
  • Completed visa application form
  • Invitation letter
    • invitation letter  and appropriate contracts, legal decision and certificates by a company or institution in Serbia stating nature of the business and expected duration of the visit, as well as a letter from an Iranian company or institution which you are representing
    • for a family reunification - invitation letter from a spouse certified by the relevant authority of the Republic of Serbia and certificate of marriage not older than six months 
  • Proof of stay in the Islamic Republic of Iran - stay permit (if you are not a citizen of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan)
  • Return ticket or Itinerary (copy of International Driving License, Title and  Insurance if you travel by car)
  • Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia (50 EUR for each day of stay)
  • Health insurance
